An eyeopener..

Following a week of total inability to DEAL...put one foot in front of the other, feel anything but loss and heartbreak, RAGE and ANGER. I give you this. One of my lovely friends at OHIH posted this and it really speaks. I mean speaks, so here it is. This is from Rose Kennedy.

"It has been said that time heals all wounds. I do not agree. The wounds remain. In time, the mind protecting it's sanity covers them with scar tissue, and the pain lessens, but it is never gone."

This says it all. Without airing alot of dirty laundry, this week brought to the foreground some really UGLY, HURTFUL, things that happened a long time ago, but will FOREVER scar those involved.

In closing this post, remember that when you think those the closest to you are HONEST, and TRUSTWORTHY, just be careful.

8 Random Things About Me....

I have been "tagged", so bear with me as I play along. Following this post I will list the people I have tagged....

1. I may be 46 years old, BUT I still love the flavors blue raspberry, and cotton candy. This due to the fact that as kids we were not allowed such treats.

2. I LOVE HOT WEATHER....the hotter the better!! Now granted, I may not handle it as well as I used to, but as long as there is a pool close by I am a happy little camper.

3. I HATE HATE HATE SNOW, SLEET, CLOD WEATHER IN GENERAL. There is not one thing about the winter season that appeals to me.

4. Yes, I am OCD. I realize as I get older, this gets worse, I just need to learn to use this LOL disorder in a more positive way. You should see my closets. I am an organization, NEAT FREAK.

5. When it comes to food I will try anything once. Either in eating it or cooking it. My love/ passion for cooking I think comes from my early childhood memories of my grandmother always cooking, baking, canning something. Oh, and the fact that my grandmas hands always smelled like onions or garlic. Now after I cook and have the leftover "smell" I say oooh I have grandma hands.

6. I hate my hair...the color, the style, the length, problem is I don't know if I want to cut it all off and start over, or let it grow. At any rate right now it's just a curly MESS!

7. My first brand new car was a 1985 FORD MUSTANG GT 5.0, 5 speed. That was the start of a long trail of history, and me finding out I had a need for speed, and enjoyed the feel of pure horsepower. Something BOTH of my children have also inherited. Sorry kiddos..... = )

8. My favorite TV is anything reality based. Survivor, Big Brother, Dancing with the Stars.

Another Taste of Heaven.......on earth

These two pictures today are in Lake Havasu, let me just say that this was a beautiful city. While we were there we saw the actual London Bridge, that was bought and reassembled here in the U.S., went through alot of little specialty shops. One of my favorites was the Havasu Spice Company. We also enjoyed luch outside. If money were not an option, this would have to be a runner up to Mesa.

ARIZONA................remember the song?

Have I said yet that I hate cold weather?! It's not even cold out yet. Memories of this scene last April keep coming back!! You could be in the pool at 7am, of course by 11am it was too hot to be outside. Mind you that is NOT a complaint. If it weren't for my kids and the rest of my BELOVED family we would be SOOOOOOO outta here!!

SO..HAPPY..IT'S..THURSDAY..RANT

WOO HOO!!! Survivor is on, laptop on my lap, and writing a post. MMMMM is that why they call it a laptop?

So I have a great job, that I just love. Here's the problem, it's only temporary, and that pisses me off. Especially when that point was reinforced today at work. Now mind you, I have been there as a temp since July 29th of this year, for a second time. They requested me back from a stint I did last year for 8 weeks. My whole issue with this is, they told us today that they are getting all of their business back that they had sent to China, because it's cheaper to manufacture it here...BOOOYAA!! Plus they are adding another shift in one of the departments. So I STUPIDLY ask if that meant hiring more people. ANSWER, NO THERE IS A HIRING FREEZE UNTIL ATLEAST NEXT YEAR. So in other words, maybe next year I could look forward to wages higher than what a temp POS makes, yeah how 'bout some insurance, and benefits!! Not to mention that we have been busting our A@#*S trying to make rate, and our projects keep getting harder and harder. Talk about getting the wind taken out of your sails! Then we have to listen to the full time employees BITCH and bellyache about whether or not they are going to get their Christmas bonus. You know what I say to their Christmas bonus!! Come on hubby land that good job a NSA!!!

That's right it's my blog, and I'll rant if I want to!! So deal with it............
